Here you can see examples of how much the toll can be, when you drive from Aalborg to Hobro, in the trial:
The people in the examples are not real.
You can see the location of the toll zones here.
The examples are based on calculations of the number of minutes or kilometres in the different charging zones on trips from one place to another in Denmark. These are estimates that may vary slightly as trips are driven. The prices are rounded off.
A purpose of the trial is to test different charging systems. That is, whether the trial participants pay toll per kilometre or per minute in one or more toll zones or tests a higher rate. The amount of the toll depends on which charging system the trial participants tests and where and when they drive.
Julie drives from Aalborg City Hall to Hobro train station and tests toll per kilometre for all three zones on the way there.
Her trip costs approximately DKK 49 during rush hour and DKK 28 outside rush hour.
Julie takes the same trip but she only tests charges in the suburbs and city centre. The trip will therefore cost approximately:
If Julie only tests toll in the city centre zone, the same trip will cost approximately:
Per is travelling from Aalborg City Hall to Hobro train station and tests toll per minute for all three zones on the way there.
He will not pay per minute in the national zone but will pay per minute in the city centre and suburbs.
The trip will cost approximately DKK 25 during rush hour and DKK 8 outside rush hour.
If Per only tests charges in the city centre zone, the same trip will cost approximately:
